The Blue Wind - Solarplates (2015)

Using a combination of solar plate printing and drawing, this series was a response to secondary research sources gathered during the creation of the work for Postcards From A Life (2015). This included research at the Charcot Archives in Paris, to view the original plates of the Iconographie photographique de la Salpêtrière. Other visual references include the drawings of Regenard and Les Aimants du Post Neuf by Leos Carax. Texts are extracts and responses to André Bretons, Nadja.
